We measure the stellar population properties (ages, metallicities, dust reddening, stellar masses and star formation histories) for all spectra classified as galaxies that were published by the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (data release 16) or by the DEEP2 galaxy surveys. We perform full spectral fitting (using FIREFLY) on the individual spectra with high spectral resolution stellar population models. We publish catalogs of properties as well as model spectra of the continuum of these galaxies as a value added catalog to the sixteenth data release of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey.
We recommend that you also use the latest updated catalog (DR16, v1_1_0), but the preceding DR14 version of the eBOSS Firefly value added catalog is still available. This catalog (v1_0_4) can be found on the SAS here, with its datamodel available here.
