There are a number of ways to explore the MaNGA data. We have split this tutorial according to different software. Choose whichever software you are most comfortable with. The ds9 and QFitsView links describe examples of datacube visualization. The IDL and python links both explain in detail how to read in and perform some simple analysis using IDL and python, respectively, for both RSS (row-stacked spectra) and datacube files.
